Favorite Tragedy: Hamlet is considered by most to be his greatest work. Not taking anything away from it, because it is a masterpiece, I tend to "feel" Othello much more.
Favorite Comedy: Taming of the Shrew has a special place in my heart. I always liked the movie version, I had a crush on Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton was perfect.
Favorite History: This one is the hardest for me to pick because I like so many of them. I really enjoy Richard III and all of the Henrys'. It's hard to not pick Julius Caesar or Antony and Cleopatra.... In the end I will go with Henry V, if for no other reason than the monologue "let slip the dogs of war".

I love Midsummer Night's Dream, but Much Ado About Nothing is my favorite of his comedies and Othello my favorite of his tragedies.

I haven't read much Shakespeare. I have a copy of Macbeth, of which I've only read the first page, and I need to get to reading it. The only others I've read are A Midsummer's Night Dream and (of course) Romeo and Juliet.

Sometimes it's hard to read a play, because they are written to be seen. It's hard to get the same appreciation at times. Although, with Shakespeare you almost have to read them before you see them to make sure you have a handle on the language.
